Hand Surgery
Recent years have seen significant progress in the treatment of hand injuries, degenerative diseases, and congenital deficiencies. Plastic surgeons have played a significant role in this progress, with their primary focus being improving both function and appearance.

Skin Cancers
The epidermis is the upper layer of the skin. It protects the body from external factors and prevents water, electrolyte, and heat loss. The dermis lies beneath the epidermis. Hair follicles, sweat and oil glands, blood vessels, and nerves are located in this layer.

Cleft Lip and Palate
Long before a child is born, during the first weeks of development, the left and right edges of the lip and the palate form together. However, this doesn't occur normally in approximately one in every 1,000 babies.

Hair Transplant
Many factors, including aging, hormonal changes, and a family history of baldness, can cause hair loss. The earlier the hair loss begins, the faster the progression of baldness. Hair loss can also occur following burns and trauma, in which case surgery is for reconstructive purposes and may be covered by health insurance.
